ROE DEER HUNTING
The shoulder height is between 65-75 cm and the length of the body can vary between 95 and 135 cm. At some species, the sexual dimorphism is quite pronounced, it is bigger than the female and it has horns, that weigh 20 and 30 kg. Not to confound with the deer (Cervus Elaphus L.), a related amimal, which is much bigger and weighs between 180 and 300 kg. The longevity is estimated to 12 – 15 years. The roe-deer is hunted for trophy or represented by horns and crane and in order to maintain the balance of the optimum natural abundance.
